Transforming Ideas into Feature-Rich Web Applications

Web Application Development Company

Zunderdog is a web application development company. We build customer portals, B2B ordering platforms, dashboards and SaaS products for businesses in India, Japan and the USA, including ZunderFlow, our own ordering platform, live with 50+ businesses since 2022.

Let’s Talk
99% Client Retention

Custom Web Applications Built Around How Your Business Works

A web application is software your customers, partners or team use in a browser: a customer portal, a dealer ordering system, an internal dashboard or a SaaS product. We design it, build it, host it and support it, and we connect it to the systems you already run, such as your ERP, CRM, accounting software, payment gateway and WhatsApp.

We are also a product company. ZunderFlow, the B2B ordering platform we built, has run in production since 2022, so we build your application the way we build our own: for real users and real data, and for years of changes after launch.

    Product Engineers, Not Just Coders

    Product Engineers, Not Just Coders

We build and run our own SaaS product, so we design for what comes after launch: support, updates, monitoring and new features, not just the first release.

    Scope Before Code

    Scope Before Code

Every project starts by mapping your users, workflows, data and integrations, so the plan, timeline and quote rest on your requirements rather than guesses.

    Web Applications We've Built

Proof beats promises. These are web applications our team designed and built, with the results the businesses using them measured.

    • ZunderFlow: a B2B ordering SaaS

Our own platform for manufacturers and distributors: dealer ordering, pricing, credit and delivery tracking, with WhatsApp and email orders in the same queue. In production since 2022 with 50+ businesses.

    • Produpak: customer, business and delivery apps

A fresh-produce supplier moved ordering off phone calls and WhatsApp. Revenue grew 30% and order-to-delivery became 60% faster in under 90 days.

    • Shakti Tanks: catalogue and dealer finder

A brand website for a manufacturer, with a 16-product catalogue, a finder for about 190 dealers and one form for orders. Website orders tripled.

    • UI/UX Auditor: an AI web app

Our free tool takes a web address and returns an AI-generated UX score and assessment. Try it on your own site.

Custom Web App, Off-the-Shelf SaaS or No-Code?

A custom web application is not always the answer. Here is how we advise clients to choose, and we will tell you on the first call if an existing product fits you better.

Choosing between a custom web application, SaaS and no-code tools
    OptionBest whenWatch out for
Off-the-shelf SaaSYour process is standard (accounting, email, a basic CRM) and a monthly subscription covers itPer-user fees that grow with your team, and workarounds when your process differs from the product
No-code and low-code toolsYou need an internal tool or prototype quickly and the logic is simpleLimits on performance, integrations and data ownership as usage grows
Custom web applicationThe software is how you compete, it must fit your workflows, or it must connect several systemsA higher upfront cost and the need for a partner who will maintain it

The Stack Behind Our Web Applications

We usually build with React and Next.js on the front end, Node.js or Python on the server and PostgreSQL for data, hosted on AWS, Google Cloud or Vercel. This website runs on the same stack. Pages are server-rendered, so they load quickly on phones and slow connections and search engines can read them. We pick a different tool when your project needs it, and explain why.

How Long a Web Application Takes

Timelines depend on the number of user types, screens, integrations and how much data has to move across. These are typical for our projects. We quote a price per project once we understand the scope, and quotes are free.

Working Hours for Teams in the UK, USA and Japan

We are based in Goa, India, and build for clients in India, Japan and the USA. India runs on India Standard Time (IST, UTC+5:30) all year, with no daylight saving, so the hours we share with you change when your clocks do. The table shows what 9:00 am in your city is in India and how many hours of a 9:00 am to 6:00 pm working day in your city overlap with the same day in India. Where clocks change, the first figure applies while your city is on daylight saving time and the one in brackets for the rest of the year.

A team in London shares 4 h 30 m of its working day with ours while the UK is on British Summer Time (late March to late October): 9:00 am to 1:30 pm in London. On GMT, the rest of the year, it shares 3 h 30 m: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. New York and San Francisco share no office hours, so we agree a daily call at the start of your day when the project starts and share progress in writing.

How We Work With Clients Abroad

    • Progress in writing

You can follow the project in your own working hours, not only on calls.

    • You own the code

You get full ownership of the source code we write for you.

    • Direct access to the team

You talk to the engineers building your application, not a chain of account managers.

    • A founder you can call

Our founder, Zubin Souza, takes the first call.

    Our Web Application Development Process

We map your users, workflows, data and integrations, agree what the first release must do, and send a written scope, timeline and quote.

We design the screens your users need, test the flows with you in a clickable prototype and settle the design before development starts.

We choose the stack, data model, hosting and integration approach, so the application can grow in users and features without a rebuild.

We build in short sprints and show you working software at the end of each one, so you can change direction early and cheaply.

Our QA team tests functionality, roles and permissions, integrations and performance on every release before it reaches your users.

We set up hosting, monitoring and backups, move your data across and launch, then monitor the application as real users arrive.

After launch we fix issues, keep dependencies and security up to date, and keep building the features your users ask for.

    Frequently Asked Questions

It designs, builds, launches and maintains software that people use in a browser, such as customer portals, dashboards, ordering systems and SaaS products. A good one also connects the application to your existing systems and supports it after launch.

It depends on the number of user types and screens, the integrations and the data to migrate. We send a written quote after a scoping call, and quotes are free. Our blog guide on web application costs explains what drives the price.

The first release of a portal, dashboard or web app typically takes 8–12 weeks or more, depending on its scope and integrations. If you need dealer ordering, ZunderFlow can be live in 72 hours instead of a custom build.

Usually React and Next.js on the front end, Node.js or Python on the server, PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB for data, and AWS, Google Cloud or Vercel for hosting. We choose other tools when a project needs them.

Yes. We connect through the systems’ APIs or data exports so orders, stock, prices and payments flow without retyping. ZunderFlow, our ordering platform, syncs with Tally and Zoho out of the box, and SAP, Oracle and other ERPs connect through its API.

Yes. We built and run ZunderFlow, a B2B ordering SaaS used by 50+ businesses since 2022, and we build SaaS products for founders with sign-up, roles, billing and admin tools.

You do. We hand over full ownership of the source code we write for you.

We follow secure coding practices, defend against common attacks such as SQL injection and XSS, restrict access by role, and test every release before it goes live.

Yes. We build for clients in India, Japan and the USA. We agree call times that suit your time zone when the project starts and share progress in writing.

India is 4 h 30 m ahead of London while the UK is on British Summer Time and 5 h 30 m ahead on GMT. Taking a 9:00 am to 6:00 pm working day on both sides, a team in London shares 4 h 30 m with ours on British Summer Time (9:00 am to 1:30 pm in London) and 3 h 30 m on GMT (9:00 am to 12:30 pm). We agree call times inside that window when the project starts and share progress in writing the rest of the day.

Use SaaS when your process is standard and a subscription covers it. Build custom when the software is how you compete, has to fit your workflows or must connect several systems. We will tell you on the first call if an existing product fits you better.

Yes. We fix issues, keep the application and its dependencies secure and up to date, and keep adding features, either as maintenance or with a dedicated team.
